"The Pacers reached an agreement in a meeting with Tisdale's representatives in Phoenix Paul White, the Pacers' public relations director, said. "Formal documentation and contract signing is expected to take place (Thursday)." The announcement came as the Pacers met the Detroit Pistons in an exhibition game in Anderson, Ind. White said Tisdale may be available for exhibition games against Cleveland in Kokorao, on Saturday and Boston in Indianapolis on Tuesday.

Terms of the contract were not released. Also, second-year forward Earl Jones of the Los Angeles Lakers has been traded to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for "future considerations."
