Bryan Expected to Adopt Progressive Care Plan Unofficial sentiment, plus unanimous support of the some 100 medical staff members indicates Bryan Memorial Hospital will inaugurate a progressive patient a concept with its expansion program. Board members meeting late Monday afternoon are reported ready to give the go- ahead signal to adoption the new concept. of The patient care procedure change will require no additional space than that already planned in the $2.3 million expansion, but it will mean redistribution of space in the architectural plans, according to board members. Generally, the progressive patient a procedure means all critically-ill patients will be together, regardless of their types of illnesses. Intermediate care will be given to those not needing the intensive care of physicians nurses and life-saving equip ment.

The self-care unit will be for those able to partially care for themselves. The long-term care until will house persons needing hospitalization for lengthy periods. Home care also will be provided for. Dr. Maurice Frazier, chairman of the radiology department at Bryan, reported on his visit to the General Hospital in Connecticut, where progressive patient care has been under operation for more than a year.

Dixon Adams. Adams said Everett (Pete) Landon, 30, of Omaha, would be arraigned Tuesday morning before Sarpy County Judge Joseph Strawn. Landon signed a statement Sunday night in which tye said he killed his wife, Ethel, 25 because of "domestic difficulties." Relatives from Enid, Okla took Mrs. Landon's body back to Oklahoma Monday, along with the Landons' two children and another child of the dead woman by a previous marriage. Landon, who was captured by Omaha police minutes after the sidewalk shooting, also had a child by a previous marriage.

Killed Instantly Mrs. Landon apparently was killed instantly, having been struck just below the heart. Witnesses said she was about seven feet away from the gun. Richard Novak, 32, bartender at Novak's bar, said the Landon couple had quarreled earlier in the bar and Landon was ejected The couple left, but both returned separately later. Bernard Barrett, 35, of Omaha, said he witnessed the second quarrel.

He said ae pulled up in his car and saw the couple standing in front of the bar. Barrett tried to approach, he said, but was waved away by Landon. C.
