Miss Wood, who was a nurse, died Monday in Newton. A native, she at 1036 Walnut Newton Highlands from 1883 until recently. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 19)4 and from the Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing in 1909. She received a master's degree from Columbia University in 1924. During World War she substituted for the director of the MGH School of Nursing.

War If and worked his' way up to superintendent' vpf delivery at his retirement in 1966. He had been employed by the paper for more than 50 years.

He was a member of Local 295 of the Teamsters' Union, and the Quarter Century Club of the newspaper. He was a member of and and the Quincy Golden Agers and the West End Hous Assri, He belonged to th Brotherhood of Congregation Hadrath Israel, fitely of Dorchester. Services will be at the Stanetsky Schlossberg -Solomon Memorial Washington Friday, at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Sharon. Memorial Park.

Brennan' died Saturday in St. John's Hospital in Oxnard where he was under treatment for emphysema. He had entered the hospital July 25, on his 80th birthday.
