Lemoyne. The Rev. Dr John W. Fisher of Calvary Evan gelical United Brethren Church, Lemoyne, performed the ceremony. The bride wore a teal blue suit with Navy blue accessories and a corsage of red roses.

Her atten dant, Mrs. Dice L. Young, wore a suit of toyal blue with white accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. Bruce Henderson brother of the bride, served as best man. Following a reception given at the Dice home, Mr.

and Mrs. Young left for a wedding trip the New England States, Niagara Falls, and Canada. They will live temporarily at 921 Walnut street, Lemoyne. The bride is a graduate of Bedford High School and was associated with her sister, Mrs. Carma Winck, in business at Everett.

Mr. Snyder, a graduate of Lemoyne High School, served three years in the Army, both in the ETO and Pacific Theatre. He is employed by the Riverton Consolidated Water Company of Lemoyne. Shower Miss Louise Shuey and Miss Doris Benn entertained at a shower Thursday at the home of Miss Benn, 28 North 19th street, in honor of Miss Mary Stauffer, who will be married Saturday to Calvin Stetson of Milford, Conn. The wedding will take place in the rectory of St. Francis Church at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Louis Dougherty officiating. A graduate of John Harris High School, the bride elect is secretary at the Johnston Laboratories at 504 North Second street. Mr.

Fornwald was graduated from Catholic High School, and served in the Air Corps in the South Pacific during World War II. He is assistant manager of F. W. Wool worth Company in Jenkintown. Veteran Weds Former SPAR Miss Drucilla I.

Kilgore, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Kilgore, 443 Herman avenue, Le moyne, became the bride of Frank S. Mickey, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Frank S. Mickey, 134 East Fifteenth street, New Cumberland, this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in the rectory of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, New Cumberland. The Rev.

C. Roy Keffer performed the ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a grey suit with navy blue accessories. Her flow ers were white roses and lilies of the valley. She carried a white prayer book.

Miss Mable Kilgore, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. She wore a grey suit with black accessories and a corsage of red roses. John D'Agos tino served as best man. Following a reception, given at the home of the bride, Mr. and Mrs.

Mickey left for a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and Canada. The bride was graduated from Lemoyne High School and the National School of Nursing, of Philadelphia. She served two years with the SPARS. The bridegroom was graduated from New Cumberland High School and served three years with the Air Force in ETO. He is employed at the Middletown Air Depot.

Lebanon Wedding In Bethany Evangelical United Brethren Church, Lebanon, on Saturday afternoon. Miss Pearl A. Blouch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Blouch, of Lebanon, Route 1, was married to Charles W.

Miller, 635 Maple street, Ann ville, son of the late Mr. and 'Mrs. Arthur S. Miller. The Rev.

Norman I. Fake, pastor of the church, officiated. Miss Verna Fetter was maid of honor and Mrs. Dorothy Groy and Miss Bernice Blouch, sisters of the bride, were bridesmaids. Raymond Marquette was best man.

Marshall Gamberling and Marshall Groy were ushers. After a reception at the home of the bridegroom, the couple left on a trip to Atlantic City. The bride is a graduate of Fredericksburg High School. 8. The marriage of Miss June Kuntz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. W.

Kuntz, Union Deposit, to Robert Klucher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Klucher, Hershey, was solemnized Satur day afternoon in the Palmyra Church of the Brethren. The dou ble ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Hiram Frysinger and the Rev.

Frank Carper. Wedding music was played by Miss May Forney, cousin of the bride, at the piano, with Miss Janet Kreider as soloist. The bride, given in marriage by her father, was gowned in white slipper satin fashioned with long tapered sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and a bustle back. Her fingertip veil fell from a headpiece of matching satin and orange blossoms, and she carried a white Bible and white orchid. Attending her as maid of honor was her sister, Miss June Kuntz, who wore a gown of light blue with pink accessories and carried colonial bouquet of pink roses.

George Koons, of Hershey, eerved as best man, with C. Kline Kuntz, brother of the bride, and William Seitzinger, Hershey, as ushers Mrs. Klucher is a graduate, of Hershey High School and is em ployed in the office of the Her shey Chocolate Corporation. A veteran of three years in the Army Air Forces, the bridegroom also a graduate of Hershey High School and is attending Lehigh University. Immediately following the cere mony, a reception was neia in the social room of the church.

After a wedding trip to Niagara Falls and Canada, the couple will make their home in Allentown. Beverlie Smith Is Church Bride Miss Beverlie J. Smith, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin S.

Smith, 257 Crescent street, became the bride of Carl "Slothower, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Slothower, 2345 Derry street, yesterday afternoon 2.30 o'clock in Christ Lutheran Church.

The Rev. Jacob E. Rudi sill performed the ceremony. The wedding music was presented by Palmer Thomas, soloist, and Mrs. Katherine Copenhaver, organist.

Given in marriage by her father. the bride wore a princess gown of white taffeta with a marquisette yoke. The fingertip veil was fastened to a Mary Stuart cap. She carried a white prayer book marked with an orchid. Miss Betty J.

Sizer, maid of honor, wore a gown of pastel blue taffeta and a headband of American Beauty roses to match her bouquet. Wilbur Slothower served best man for his brother. The ushers were George Slothower, and William Morris, cousins the bridegroom. Following a reception given in the social rooms of the church, Mr. and Mrs.

Slothower left for a wed ding trip to New York City. They will live at 2345 Derry street. The 'bride was graduated from John Harris High School and is employed by the Pennsylvania I. and F. Insurance Company.

Mr. Slothower, also a John Harris High School graduate, served 18 months in the Army. He is associated with Slothower Brothers Company. Dinner Hosts on Anniversary Mr. and Mrs.

Jess B. Neuhauser, 3107 North Third street, celebrated their thirtieth wedding an niversary on Thursday, September by entertaining their family at dinner at the Carlisle Country Club. Their guests were their son J. Neuhauser, Mrs. Neuhauser and their children, J.

Ill, and Marline, of Pelham, and Mr. and Mrs. Morgan C. Wright and daughter, Phyllis, of Carlisle. An open house followed the dinner.

Mr. Neuhauser, owner of the Major Pelham Hotel in Georgia, will return home the fatter part of this week, with his family. Mr. Wright is assistant manager of the Neuhauser and Wright Flour Mills at Barnitz and Plainfield. Schriver Askins Mrs.

Nellie G. Askins, 121 West Main street. New lloomfield, for merly of Harrisburg, and Harry Schriver, 1103 North Front street, were married Monday, September 1. in Little Church Around the Corner, New York City. The ceremony was performed by the Rev.

Charles A. Weatherbee: Mrs. Schriver has been employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways for several years. Mr. Schriver is an inspector fo the Bethlehem Steel Com pany.

No jury will judge the selection so that each exhibitor may present the paintings of which he is most proud, and which he thinks will provide enjoyment for others. Auxiliary Will Provide Furniture The Ladies' Auxiliary of the Harrisburg Polyclinic Hospital will furnish 20 desks and 20 chairs for the use of student nurses, Mrs, J. Edward Hiller, the president, announced today. The additional furniture was made necessary by the expansion of the school of nursing. Other officers of the auxiliary are first vice president, Mrs.

Mr. and Mrs. T. Robert Kohn lein of Paxtang, are receiving congratulations on the birth of their first child, a daughter, Kim berley Ann, on Friday, September 5, at the Harrisburg Hospital. Mrs.

Kohnlein is the former Miss Georgea Culp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Heist Culp, of 3600 Montour street. Mr. and Mrs.

Heister S. Culp of 2019 Chestnut street, were in Warrenton. over the week end, and were guests at the wedding of the former's cousin, Miss Ann jtienner, who has been a fre quent visitor at the Culp home, and who was one of Mrs. Culp wedding attendants. Miss Benner became the bride of Mark C.

Gee of Arlington, Iowa, on Saturday Another wedding of particular local interest took place Satur day at 5 o'clock in Peoples Non Denominational Church, Lansing, when Miss Margaret Schell, 906 Eureka street, of Lans ing, became the bride of Walter Willard Shearer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Shearer, of 302 West Sixteenth street, New Cum berland. The ceremony 'was per formed by the Rev.

L. G. Mc Cune. The bride wore a gray suit with black accessories and a cor sage of gardenias and talisman roses. Mrs.

LeMoyne Miller, ma tron of honor, wore a biege suit with brown accessories, and a corsage of yellow and red roses Donald Shearer served his brother as best man, and Donald Schell, brother of the bride, was usher. Following a small reception, Mr. and Mrs. Shearer left for a wed ding trip to Canada, Niagara Falls, and Eagles Mere. The bride, daughter of Mrs.

Mabelle Schell, of Lansing, has been employed by the Airesearch Manufacturing Company in Los Angeles. Mr. Shearer's university studies were interrupted by his World War II service. In the Air Corps for four years, as a 17 pilot, he saw service in the European Theatre of Operations. He and his bride will go to Philadelphia to live until next February when he will graduate from the University of Pennsyl vania.

They will then move to Carlisle, where he has en rolled in the Dickinson School of Law. Until tomorrow, Sally Greencastle Girl Wed in Hagerstown Chambersburg, Sept. 8. Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Ethel Pauline Meyers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Harry S. Meyers, Greencastle, to Myron E. Hawbaker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Hawbecker, Mercers burg.

The ceremony was per formed on August 20 in the homej of the Rev. Harvey Martin, Hagerstown. Following the ceremony, the couple left on a wedding trip to Illinois and Iowa. They will re turn home by way of Niagara Falls. Mrs.

Hawbaker is employ ed by the Stanley Company. Mr. Hawbaker is an employe of the L. M. Beck Pipe Manufacturing Company, Greencastle.

He served 24 months in the Navy, and is a graduate of Greencastle Hig School. Special Meeting Mrs. Harry M. Turrell, the president, has called a special meeting of the board members of the Harrisburg District Council of Catholic Women, to be held on Wednesday evening, September 10, at 8.15 o'clock, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 213 State street. Card Party The annual birthday and card party of L.

A. Pilgrim Command ery, Knights Templar, will be held Thursday evening at 7.3P o'clock. The program will be preceded by a business session in charge of Mrs. Ezra Cassell, president. Wedded to Stepbrother Miss Elizabeth Jones, daughter of Mrs.

Raymond. E. Wagner, 1927 Park street, became the bride of her step brother, John Wagner, son of Raymond E. Wagner of 1927 ark street, yesterday at 3 o'clock in Park Street Evangelical Church. The Rev.

Sidney Buxton officiated at the ceremony. The wedding mu sic was presented by Miss Nancy Lau, soloist, and Ray Keesecker, an uncle of the bridegroom, organist. Escorted by her step father, the bride chose, a gown of ice blue satin in colonial style. She wore a Mary Stuart cap with matching fingertip veil. Her flowers were a cascade bouquet of white roses and stephanotis with tendrils of ivy.

The attendants were Mrs. Richard E. Carter, Nashville, who was matron of honor; and Miss Anna Mae McKillip. Miss Jo Ann Quigley. both of Carlisle, cousins of the bride groom; Miss Audrey Jacoby and Miss Joan Thomas of this city, bridesmaids.

They wore identical gowns of sea foam blue satin styled similarly to the bride's gown, and matching Mary Stuart caps. They carried cascade bou quets ot wetter Time, a new shade of red, roses. Raymond Wagner, served his brother as best man. The ushers were M. Lee Loser, Paul Engle, Charles Ruhi, and Clair Wagner, of Pine Grove.

Thomas Shultz lighted the tapers. Fol lowing the ceremony a reception was given at the Magnolia Tea Room. Mr. and Mrs. Wagner left for a wedding trio to Williamsburg and irginia Beach, Va.

Mrs. Wagner was graduated from East High School, Nash ville, and Baxter Sem inary. Baxter, Tenn. She is employed as a secretary at the Evangelical Press. Mr.

Wagner, a graduate of John Harris High School, served with the Army Medical Corps for three years, including one year overseas. He is a senior at Lebanon Valley College. They will live with their parents at 1927 Park street. TA Meeting The monthly meeting of the Middle Paxton TA will be held Tuesday evening, September 9, at 8 o'clock at the schoolhouse.
