Letters to the Food Editor Helpful Suggestions From Readers Receiving Weekly Awards How is the price of meat affecting your family food budget? Are you cutting down on meat or skimping on some of the other things? In either case, it's a test of your ingenuity to work out meat substitutes that are tasty and nutritious and still inexpensive enough so that you'll have enough money left for the choice cuts you like to buy. Whether you concoct new meat substitute recipes, or have original recipes in your family already, send them in to this column to share with other readers. You can be of material help to other readers of the Thursday Food Sec tion. You'll probably be interested too in clipping the sng cestions of other readers for your recipe scrap book.
