The speaker who upheld affirmative side of the argument were Mis Scott and Sinclair, and their opponents were Miss and Mis Kenny. All the speakers proved themselves to be debater of the highest order. The audience liberally applauded each good point by the -t Miss Bcott, tor the affirmative, said that talent was good In its way; but It was useless without talent She recited several Instances to uphold her side of the argument, Miss Matthews followed Ml Scott, and looked upon tbe question in quite a different, light. She thought that talent without tact waa useless. Dr.
