Galston yester day to four West Indian colored men and a white man who -were leaders of a pro-Japanese movement in Harlem. Leonard Robert Jordan, 42-year-old "black Hitler of Harlem" and founder of the Ethiopian Pacific Movement, was sentenced to 10 years and fined $10,000. The other colored men were James Henry Thornhill, 42, sen tenced to eight years; Lester Eugene Holness, 39, seven years, and the Rev. Ralph Green Best, "chaplain" of the movement, four years. The four were convicted of sedition by a jury which included three colored persons. A Loyal Community. The white man, who pleaded guilty before the trial, was Joseph Hartrey, 36, former Army-private, who drew a six-year "If there had been proof that their conspiracy had obtained a successful culmination," the Judge said, "I would have unhesitatingly imposed the maximum sentence, 40 years.
