A Cinderella Man. - One thing it explodes is the old theory that Cinderella must be female. Another is the notion that anyone pressed to wear the glass slipper might conceivably step out of a life geared to such things as great riches and a Charming Prince or Princess. The story is adult as well as unconventional. Valdemar Moreaux, of unknown parentage and roving nature, is a man who takes life and love wherever he finds them. Opening scenes establish immediately his current connection with the Martensson circus and the girl who owns it. When fate brings the traveling how to the grounds of Col. Magnus von Brede, the old count recognizes Valdemar as an illegitimate son, offers him everything as an heir, and encourages marriage with his beautiful ward. Eva. Valdemar's struggle to feel comfortable in the new glass slippers comprises some of the less inter-estin-i- sequences of the film, but "En Enda Natt" (Onlv One Night), A. B.
