(Littlefield) Witham, 105, formerly of Everett, who lived in Brimfield, for the past eight years, will be held tomorrow at 11 the Chapel of the J. E. Mrs. Witham. a native of Wells, was the oldest resident of Everett where she lived for many years. Rev. Thomas Chaffee, pastor of the First Methodist Church of Everett, of which she a long-time member, will officiate.

Burial will be in Wells, Me. Mrs. Witham, the widow of Winfield S. Witham, leaves two daughters, Mrs. Clara Bennett of Hamden and Mrs.

Bessie Hilton of Everett, and two sisters, Mrs. Hattie M. Rice of Melrose and Mrs. Bertha Avery of Braintree. A.

Rosenberg Newspaper Worker Services for Abraham Rosenburg, 67, of 9 Edyth lane, Peabody, will be held Friday the Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 1668 Beacon Brookline. Mr. Rosenberg, who had been associated with the circulation department of the Herall-Traveler for 35 years died Wednesday after a long illness. Hub Marine Unit Ends Training At Lejeune CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C.The 500 reservists of the Boston-based 1st Battalion, 25th Marines, wound up a three-day mock war today as part of their Summer training.

The unit will stay in the field until tonight in the windup of one of the largest reserve exercises ever staged on the Eastern Coast. An airlift from the Navy carrier Boxer and a beach assault was a feature. About 5000 Marine Reservists from a dozen states participated. Two Boston companies, along with units from Springfield, Manchester, N.H., and Hartford, are due to start for home Friday. Lt Col Howard W.

Feist of Weston is battalion commander, Maj James C. Doyle Jr. of Arlington and Capt Richard N. Hoehn of Winchester command the Boston companies. N.H.

Hands Out Sweeps Checks CONCORD, N.H. The winners in the July 25 major N.H. Sweepstakes drawing and the July 27 Sweepstakes race were presented their checks today by Gov. John W. King at a ceremony in his office.

There was a total of 578 prize winners who shared $223,400 in award money. The top winners who accepted the invitation to receive their checks in person from Gov. King were; Mrs. Mae Roach and sisters, Mrs. Mazie Hillebrand, Mrs.

Lucy Blauvelt, of Glen Rock, N.J., R. A. Jones, Bridgeport, N.J., $20,000. Also, Leo Leblanc of Nashua, N.H., $10,000 and Dr. Richard Descoteau, Manchester, N.H., $1333.

Checks are being sent to other prize winners by the Merchants National Bank. Fitchburg Pair Held in Gun Theft FITCHBURG Police have charged two Fitchburg men with the theft of some 200 revolvers from the Iver and Jhnson Arms and Cycle Works. Arrested Wednesday were Robert Wiljanen, 24 and Paul Palmer, 23. They face arraignment today. The revolvers valued at $4000, were stolen from the Fitchburg plant early Tuesday.

Samuel Harrisburg Maine Hotel Manager OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Me. Samuel Harrisburg, 69, who managed Copley Hotel for more than 50 years, died Wednesday after a brief illness. He was born in Lewiston and attended schools there. He was a member of Etz Chian Synagogue, Biddeford, and Beth Israel Synagogue, Old Orchard Beach. He leaves his wife, Frances; a daughter, Mrs.
