(Louis The Fox) Tagli-anetti, 66, of Warick, for murder, and Louis Manna-chio, 41, of Providence, charged with inciting another to be an accessory to murder. Taglianetti, reputed lieutenant to Raymond Patriar-ca of Providence, was named before a congressional committee in 1963 as the New England boss if Cosa Nostra.

Zoglio reportedly was killed because of recurrent friction with underworld leaders, topped off by a dis- ed an investigation which began three months ago. It involved coordinated efforts between the offices of Richardson and Rhode Island Atty. Gen. Robert DeSim-one. WTSOCKI Atty. Gen. Elliot L. Richardson today announced the indictments of three Providence men for a 1967 alleged gangland murder in Attleboro. Named were Rudolph Sciarra, 43, Robert E.

Fair-brothers, 31, and Rinaldo Di-Pietrantonio. Their alleged victim was Louis Zoglio, 31, of Providence, whose body was found under a blanket in the back seat of a car in a motel parking lot on Rte. 95, Feb. 4, 1967. He was shot seven times.

The indictments were returned secretly yesterday by a special Grand Jury in Fall River after hearing evidence presented by Asst. Atty. Gen. Donald Conn of Richardson's Organized Crime Unit. It was believed to be the first time in modern jurisprudence that the Massachusetts Attorney General's office concerned itself with a murder case.

Richardson disclosed that the organized crimbebusters will move into Essex County, with the cooperation of Essex Dist. Atty. John P. S. Burke, next week to begin another grand jury presentation.

The Essex probe is expected to cover 100 witnesses, half of whom are believed active in the rackets. Richardson said the Essex investigation evolved from underworld infiltration into the operations of at least one bank. FACE R.I. COURT All three men were picked up last night by Massachusetts and Rhode Island State Police. They were taken into Superior Court in Providence this morning for rendition to Massachusetts.
