ATTEND SYMPHONY MEET Mrs. Robert Palm, left, president of El Paso Symphony Women's Association, and Eugene Anderson, also of the group, were among 77 delegates attending the recent state convention of Texas Women's Association for Symphony Orchestras in Amarillo. Asbury WSCS Plans Meeting Mrs. Stern was graduated from Loretto Academy, University of Texas at El Paso and received her law degree from U.T. Austin.

Mr. Stern was graduated from Stanford University, Palo Alto, Calif. Rose Croix Chapter Sets Monday Meet Rose Croix Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, will meet at 8 p.m. Monday in Masonic Temple, 1505 Magruder, Presiding will be Mrs. Harold Sunderland and Donald Stanton, worthy matron and patron.

In charge of the social hour will be Mr. and Mrs. Stanton. All members of the order are invited. Desert Hills Garden Club Elects Officers Dean Stern of Los Angeles, and his bride, the former Miss Ana Marie Navar of El Paso, will be honored at a brunch at 10:30 a.m.

Sunday in the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tomas Navar, 4710 La Luz. Relatives of Mrs. Stern will attend.

Out-of-town guests will include Mrs. Rudolph Villalo-bos, Laredo, and Dr. Pax Beruecos and Miss Ester Villalobos, both of Mexico City. Assisting Mrs. Navar with the bruncn will be her Mrs.

Benito Noyola, San Francisco, and Miss Jennie Navar of El Paso. The couple was married Feb. 3 in Los Angeles. Mr. Stern is a partner with Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher law firm, and Mrs.

Granddaughter Of Churchill Exhibits Art NEW YORK (AP) Edwina Sandys, a 34-year-old granddaughter of Winston Churchill, has had the first American exhibit of her paintings at a gallery here. "Like my grandfather, it has taken me a long time to find myself. I thrashed about a lot before I started painting seriously," said Miss Sandys, who had her first sellout show in London two years ago. "Like my grandfather, I like people, especially children.
