Music for the dance will be provided by Alfonso Ramos and his Orchestra. The dance is sponsored by the parents of the students to be honored, not by Lulac Council No.

Herrera Wins Russell Award Edward Joe Herrera of Bryan was one of students honored here Friday, during the annual Texas 1 University Agricultural Economics and Sociology Department Awards Program. A senior in sociology, Herrera received the $100 Dan Russell Award. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Herrera of 505 West 15th Street.

Russell was a long-time professor of sociology at and is now retired in College Station. The J. Wheeler Barger Award, a memorial to a former professor in the department, went to Richard Steve Machalek of Temple as the outstanding senior in agricultural economics. Kenneth Earl Graeber of Brenham, junior in agricultural administration, received the C. E.

Bowles Memorial Scholarship Award. Herrera is a member of the Sociology Club, the Baptist dent Union and is athletic sergeant for this ROTC company. Kelley Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Kelley of Rt. 2, Bryan, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Union Baptist Church. Mrs.
