Lindbergh, 20, who finished runner-up in the Player of the Year contest in the Swedish semi-pro hockey league, and Eriksson, also 20, were claimed by the Flyers in last year's NHL amateur draft. Lindbergh and Eriksson will become the first Swedes to play for the Flyers if they make the team. Most Swedes in the NHL have done well in pro hockey, but most of the half dozen Swedish goalies who so far have played in the NHL have had little success.

"But somebody has to succeed and I hope it's me," Lindbergh said. "I going to be tough." Lindbergh must win a job from the two holdover goal-tenders, rookie Pete Peeters and veteran Phil Myre. Lindbergh and Eriksson are both guaranteed their salaries in case they have to spend time in the minors, said Bjorn Wagnsson, a lawyer who handles most of the business of Swedish NHL players. It was reported that Djur-garden of Stockholm, Eriksson's Swedish Hockey League team, will get $100,000 in compensation for its blueliner. Lindbergh's club, AIK of Stockholm, will collect about $75,000.

Meanwhile, in Goteborg, Jorgen Petersson, 23, a forward with Vastra Frolunda who also played on the Swedish national team, said he has signed a two-year contract with St. Louis Blues of the NHL. General set free SUDBURY (CP) An Oshawa Generals hockey player who got into a scrap with a fan in the stands on March 2 was given an absolute discharge yesterday after pleading guilty to causing a disturbance by fighting. Lawyers for Peter Wilson, 19, a forward with the Ontario Major Junior Hockey League argued that although Wilson's actions could not be condoned they were provoked by someone who spat on him and threw something at him. Forum site for draft MONTREAL (CP) The Montreal Forum won't get much of a rest from hockey activities this summqr.

Home of the Canadiens during the National Hockey League season, the Forum will be the site of the NHL entry draft of amateur hockey talent June 11. In past years, the draft, which will be 10 rounds with a maximum of 210 players chosen in 1980, was held at a downtown hotel, but lack of space has forced the move.
