Prank Wood and Hamp P. Abnev have organized the Sadler Oi i and Gas comoany. This new concern holds in the vicinity of Grayson county, and will begin an active development campaign soon. ROXANA COMPANY WELL HAS PRODUCTION OF 180 BARRELS Graham, Texas, Nov. hun- dre dand eighty barrels Is estimated daily production of the Donnell of the Roxana Petroleum company, 10 miles southw'est of Graham.

The drill is now 20 feet in the lime and the gas and oil showings are increasing. The drillers have bailed out two bailers of higli grade oil. The well will be drilled deeper and if the oil does not flow, the well will be shot. Production of 5500 Barrels. Houston, Texas.

Nov. the past 10 days three wells have been completed in the Hull field, having a total initial production of 5500 barrels. The Gulf Production No. 3 Phoenix came in with an initial production of 2000 barrels from a sand formation encountered at a depth of 2200 feet. The Gulf Texas No.

6 an initial production of 3000 barrels. The Republic Production No. 24 is making an initial production of 2000 barrels from the 2200 foot level. The No. 2 Palmer of the TexaTs company out during the past week, making a large quantity of oil and gas.

The gas and oil caught fire and within a few seconds flames leaping 50 The average daily production of the Hull field for the past 10 days total3 about 6200 barrels, which is divided as follows: The Republic Production company, 4000 barrels; Gulf Production company, 1500 barrels: Big Oil company. 350 barrels; Texas company, 150 barrels; Humble Oil fend Refining company, 120 barrels, and the Sun company, barrels. Henrietta, Texas, Nov. throught Clay county have somewhat hampered on account of the rains of the past few weeks, but now that it has cleared off, operators are making every effort to get materials hauled to their various sites and to begin drilling as soon as possible.

A number of new concerns are entering the field and are now negotiating for acreage in the vicinty of being drilled. The Silk well on the Z. G. Scott ranch is drilling at a depth of 3450 feet. Operators are closely ing this well as It Is believed that a showing of oil should be found at any moment.

The drill has passed through SOO feet of black lime with lime. The well will be drilled to 5000 feet if necessary for the pur pose of' proving a sand like that found In the Ranger field. The well is not yet completed.

It reached the sand about 10 days ago. and since then has been attracting much attention. The well is at a depth of 3310 feet. The Coaden Oil and Gas No. 37 on the Walker farm.

Corsicana Oil and Refining company ig making arrangements to construct a refinery at Corsicana. The construction work will begin as soon as the contract is closeti. The company plans to build a number of refineries throughout the state. The papers, in connection with the purchase of tho production of the Witherspoon concern, the Church Oil company and the Calhoun and Webb company, have all been passed on. watch-I These companies will furnish the new refinery with crude oil.

The Lone Star Gas company is making every effort to push work on its 16 inch line out of Ranger to supply Waxahachie, Ennis, Hillsboro, Waco and Corslf-ana. Materials are being purchased for the line much iiasier than officials of the company thought would be possible. The right of way through Ellis county has been completed. Nov. freakish Brown well seven miles from this place had another remarkable blowout Wednesday night. The explosion blew oft a pipe which led from the casing at right angles and connected with another pipe leading upward to a tank. The stream then hit a two inch plank which braced the derrick and smashed it to slivers. The stream then sent clear over the fence across the street, fully 150 feet from the well.

Pure oil ran down the street a distance that paced 138 yards and the ditches on either side were full of oiL It Is estimated that upwards of 100 barrels of oil was forced out of the w'ell by the explosion.
