At a meeting of the trustees of the Cumberland Presbyterian church Monday night a decisive strlce waa taken toward the proposed building- of a new house of worship for the growing congregation. The following building- committee was named: the Rev. Chaa. B. Well' born, chairman; John H. Schwerd. man, secretary; Godfrey Twells, treasurer; J. H. Holbruner, H. C. Willie, Daniel Mader, W. W. Painton, Wood A. Hart, Edward Hankee. The church ia to be built on the modern institutional plan, with rooms for all tbe departments of church and and social work. There will bo read- Ing roome, parlors and reception rooms, besides baths for both sexe and a physical culture department.
