Mr. Baldwin retired from active coaching in 1930.

Born in Manchester, N.H, he was graduated from Somerville High School and was a member of the class of 1908 at Dartmouth, where he was an outstanding halfback. In 1908, he coached Somerville High to the state football championship, After that Mr. Baldwin coached football, basketball and baseball for four years at Brockton High School before moving on to Passaic, N.J., High School. Before World War I. he coached at Rhode Island State College.

During the war, he served overseas as a Y.M.C.A. John J. Meade Managed Village Project John J. Meade, 7 73, retired of the Old Harbor manager Village Housing Project in South Boston, died Sunday at his home, 25 St. Brendan Dorchester.

Mr. Meade was a member of the Edward Everett Federal Savings and Loan Claire past president of the County Society; a charter member of the Eire Society of Boston; a member of the Dorchester Board of Trade; and past treasurer of the Dorchester Real Estate Brokers Assn. Born in Ireland, he attended Boston English High School. Boston University, and the Hawley School of Engineering. He leaves three daughters, Sr.

Simon Rudnick Hub Film Theater Pioneer Services were held Sunday for Simon Rudnick. 95, formerly of Brighton, Boston movie theater pioneer and real estate owner. He died Saturday a rehabilitation home West in Roxbury, after returning a year ago from Miami where he had lived for four years. Born in Russia, he came to Boston over 75 years ago. About 1910 he entered the theater business and came to be known as one of the pioneers of Boston movie entertainment.

He owned the Old South Theater and the Washington Theater. He was also the owner of several apartment buildings in Greater Boston. Known for his community activities, he was a founder, president and honorary president of Temple Kadimah in Brookline. He leaves his wife, Bessie; two sons, John D. of Allston and Bernard of Brookline; a sister, Mrs.

Rose Druker of Boston; and three brothers, Morris and Michael of Brookline and Harold A. of Boston. Thomas Broderick State Democratic Official NATICK-Thomas P. Broderick, 59, of 175 Hartford a member of the Democratic State Committee and a former manager of the Veterans' Campaign at West Roxbury Veterans Hospital, died Sunday at Framingham Union Hospital. Born in Jamaica Plain, he lived in Natick for 14 years. He was a member of the Charles River Country Club and St. Linus' Holy Name Society.

Mr. Broderick was a past commander of V.F.W. Post 202, Brighton, and was awarded a Purple Heart in World War II. He leaves a wife, Helen M. (Smith); two brothers, Frank of Medfield and Joseph E.
