Arlington, despite yeoman work by Raia, was unable to cross midfield before the intermission. In the third period. Everett got another big break, as Raia bobbled a punt and Tony Delllsola recovered on the Arlington 30. Merola and Carroll lugged the pigskin down to the eight-yard line before Arlington regained possession on a fumble. A poor Arlington punt placed Everett In a threatening position but the Crimson attack petered out on the six-yard line.

As the final chapter opened Everett again exerted its strength by covering 33 yards in six plays for I lj ci -I v.s..y i -4, a late in the third period set up the Sachem's lone touchdown in the early minutes of the final quarter. Anganis scored from the Beverly two-yard line after two Anganis to Ayers forwards netted 42 yards and bit deeply into Beverly territory. Beverly staved off two drives for their goal but a l-yard forward from Anganis to Lasky gave the visitors a first down on the Beverly six. Lasky picked up four yards more and Anganis followed with the score.
