Relatives and friends Invited. ornament and the new building design are the work of Robert C. Liu of the Agricultural Research Service. He got the i idea ior me new Dunaing ae- sign while making a Christmas I tree ornament which he de-j scribes as a 20 ray star known geometrically as a stellated icosahedron. Liu hopes to have the first building of this radical design completed and ready for occupancy early next Spring.

The building will be a partial sphere with a pentagonal base. It will be constructed of elongated diamond shape panels. The panels will be covered with flexible materials formed into curved surfaces known to engineers as hyperbolic paraboloids. The paraboloids are hyperbolic in the mathematical sense only.l we are informed. Along about there, we lost the thread.
