More than 200 M. T. A. riders were forced to evacuate a Hills-bound train by a fire in the undercarriage of one car as the train pulled into the Boylston-115 Essex station at 4:23 p. m.

yesterday. While the commuters waited on the platform, M. T. A. personnel quickly traced the fire to a wiring box and extinguished it.

Paul Vengrow of 98 Lancaster terrace, Brookline. said he was alone in his store at 1362 Beacon st. when two men entered and said they wanted to buy a fur coat. The phone rang and he answered it. When he turned to wait on the two men, one was holding a valuable fur scharf.

As he started to wait on the one of the men held his hand in his pocket in a threatening manper and ordered the furrier to remain seated. The pair fled with the scarf, Vengrow said. One of them was about 22, and about five feet. eight inches tall, the second was 28 years old and six feet tall, Vengrow reported. Fire in Rear End of Wakefield Bus Drives Out 34 WAKEFIELD Sept.

22-Thirtyfour passengers fled through emergency and regular exists of an Eastern Massachusetts bus that caught fire on Main this afternoon. A woman motorist drew up along side the bus. tooted at driver and informed him that the rear of the bus was afire. The driver. Natale Manzo, 33, of Harvard Molrose, immediately stopped and ordered passengers to leave.

No one was injured. The was near the Melrose line and both Wakefield and Melrose Fire Departments responded. The blaze was attributed to a broken gas line. 200 Cushing Patients Being Transferred to W. Roxbury Oct.

15 Some 200 patients at Cushing Veteran Administration Hospital in Framingham will be transferred to the remodeled V.A. hospital in West Roxbury Oct. 15. Among them are 153 paraplegics. Dr.

Rolland H. Grasser, manager of the Framingham hospital. will take over a similar post in West Roxbury. Cushing Hospital, built by the Army 10 years ago, will be abandoned except for a small maintenance crew of about 30. The hospital was built to have a capacity for 1750 beds, but at one time during the war 3100 were hospitalized there.

The Army has indicated that it may take over the hospital again in the near future. Azevide, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Azevido of 15 Rose Glen was killed when the piano fell from light pickup truck as it rounded the corner of Chestnut and Walnut sts. at 8:30 p. m.

Azevido was holding the piano on the rear of the truck, along with companion. when the vehicle is believed to have struck a on gravel-laid Chestnut st. The piano landed on Azevido's head. He died shortly after admission to Brockton Hospital. Azevido's parents had just bought the home at 8.

Chestnut previously occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Poisson. The piano had been left in the house and Mr. and Mrs.

Azevido planned to! store it 50. that they could redecorate. Azevido borrowed a light pickup truck and took along Cohenno, 18, of Rockland Frank Plaice, 16, of Lincoln and Richard Martin, 18, of Washington to help him. The four maneuvered the piano onto the truck. While Martin drove, Cohenno an4 Azevido stood in the back holding the piano.

Plaice followed in an automobile. Martin said at he was in second gear and only going about 5 miles an hour when the truck and he heard the piano crashing to the ground. In addition to his parents. Azevido leaves four brothers and three sisters. The family came here from the M.
