Mack' Carpenter Dies at Age of 43 John T. (Jack) Carpenter, 43, died Sunday of a heart attack at his home, 425 Country Club road Camp Hill. Mr. Carpenter, part owner of Carpenter's Jewelry Company, Third and Walnut streets, was a member of the Rotary Club and the West Shore Country Club, Born in Elmira, N. he came to Harrisburg as a boy and attended Technical High School.

Later he entered the jewelry business in Trenton, N. where he remained for nine years before re turning to Harrisburg in 1936. In addition to his widow, Mrs Mary Foltz Carpenter, he is survived by one son, John T. 'Carpenter. Ill, fireman 1c, U.

Navy, aboard a heavy cruiser in the South Pacific; his mother, "Mrs. John T. Carpenter, Har risburg; two sisters, Mrs. Harry C. Rensel, Harrisburg, and Mrs.

E. M. Landis, Poughkeepsie, N. Y. His father, the late John T.

Carpenter, who died in 1938, was active in the State government for more than 25 years as an employe of the Treasury and Au ditor General departments. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p. at the George H. Sour bier funeral home. Second and Kelker streets.

Mary Elizabeth McCoy, 59, wife of Elmer McCoy, South Mid dleton township, near Barnitz, died Sunday at her home. She was a member of the Barnitz Methodist Church. In addition to her husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Irvin Walters and Mrs. George Miller, both of Carlisle, and Mrs.

Lee Lehman, Cleveland, Ohio; four sons, John and R. William, both of Barnitz; Luther Lee, Carlisle, and Glenn S. McCoy, at home; eight grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Nowel Wilson, Barnitz. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.

m. SAMUEL M. STOYER Samuel M. Stoyer, 80, died today at his home, 1021 South Sev enteenth street. Formerly an employe of the Reading Railroad for 53 years, he was a member of the Fourth Reformed Church.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jennie M. Stoyer; three sons, Morris and Charles, both of Harrisburg; Rudolph Stoyer, Morgan town, W. two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Carlin, Harrisburg, and Mrs.

m. Milton L. Kuhns Dies at Carlisle Milton L. Kuhns, 72, a foreman at the Bedford Shoe Factory where he has been employed for the last 52 years, died suddenly Sunday at his home, 93 street, Carlisle.
