Mrs. E. B. Kllloit, Mrs The El Paso county Democratic convention, held yesterday afternoon, went on record as being In ravor of the constitutional amendments providing for state-wide prohibition and full woman suffrage. Delegates selected by the convention io attend the state convention, which will bo held at Waco on September were Instructed to vote as a unit for planks In the Btate platform which would submit these two issues to the voters In order that both might be written Into the state constitution.

The convention endorsed the national administration for the splendid services rendered the nation and the world, and especially the conduct of the war now being waged to the end thai democracy might prevail throughout the word. The convention pledged Its unqualified support to the administration. The ad I Robert L. Holllday was nominated and unanimously elected chairman, i Harris Walthall was elected secretary. After complimenting the women for the part they played In the primaries.

Mr. Holllday said: "1 think that It would be In keeping with this convention to recommend to the next legislature that until the women are given the full vote i they should not be required to pay a poll tax. Let this convention go on record as being In favor of women being given the same right to vote as the men have." I'ruud of Kl Pa.it Hobby lot.
