From deep in their own territory, the Wildcats moved when DeCorrevont and Benson carried to the 34 on a lateral play and DeCorrevont rifled a 52 yard pass to Ohland who was stopped on the Wolverine 14, Michigan stopped the attack and held as the game ended. West Virginia never threatened seriously, reaching the Fordham 30 for their furthest penetration on the last play of the game. FIRST PERIOD The Rams marched 60 yards on eight plays to a touchdown. Andrejco battered for eight and Filipowicz for five more, making it first down on the enemy 47. Blumenstock carried twice and Filipowicz once for another down on the 36. Filipowicz flipped a 29 yard pass to Lansing who was spilled on the 7.

Andrejco carted around end for the touchdown. The next time the Rams took the ball they drove 67 yards in five plays. Filipowicz raced around right end for 22 to the West Virginia 45. Lansing speared a pass from Flip, good for nine and, after Andrejco was halted. Flip plowed to a first down on the 34.

On the next play, Blumenstock slashed through the middle, danced his way through the secondary and went the distance. Cherverko, who kicked the first extra point, did it again. Score: Fordham 14, West Virginia 0. SECOND PERIOD On the first play, Andrejco broke through center for a 51-yard dash that carried the Rams to the en- Wildcat drive from its 38. Graham reeled off 12 and an offside penalty helped Northwestern to Michigan's 19.

Northwestern lost 15 for holding, but DeCorrevont's pass to Motl drove to the five. Michigan stiffened and took over on the eight. They forced to kick, but Ceithaml intercepted DeCorrevont's heave, who then pulled the same act himself. The Wildcats carried to the Wolverine 28 on a 16 yard pass and run, but Michigan held and Northwestern kicked out on Michigan's 18.
