This pint-sized costume look is achieved by matching dainty, flowered hats, fabric or plastic handbags, or pixie caps to the dresses. Helio, lavender, mauve, orange sherbet, pinks, and blues are the season's pet pastels, while navy, especially with white, is important in the nautical look frocks. Toddlers' coats feature such fashion points as the high belt back. some belted straight across the shoulder blades, and the longer | waistline worked as elegantly as in j the bigger size ranges. i Another favorite silhouette is the i coat with straight panels, front and I back, and flared or pleated fullness I at the sides. i White-flecked tweeds, color- j flocked wool flannels, and polished ; worsted flannels are the top-favored | coat fabrics. _ j Little girls who wear the 3-6X | size will find the same high fash- | ion Influence in their spring wardrobes, j Particularly noteworthy is a i small fry version of the ever-popular j redingote ensemble! Men's Suits Now Year 'Round In Light Weight Wool Fabrics Milder weather hi recent years ha» resulted in many men wearing their "cold weather" suits well into summer, and their wool tropical worsted suits in late fall. Men's wear manufacturers were quick to perfect a "year-round" suit. Their lighter weight extends the season in which they can be worn. They have obvious advantages particularly for men who work in air- conditioned offices and want to dress well. Woo! fabric manufacturers took the middle course between the fabric weight of winter suits and the weight of wool tropical worsted suit fabric. An outstanding new fabric in this weight Is the worsted wool crepe suiting. This fabric gives excellent fit and unmatched resistance to wrinkles. It has the characteristic "ninkly" weave patterns. Another fine new faJiric in the middleweight suitings is the "reverse twist" worsted wool. The reverse twist yarns are of the same color as the fabric background but reflect light differently. Worsted wool gabardine has been lightened to tlli 10-ounce weight and enlivened with decorative yarns. This new fabric interest makes shopping for a year-round suit interesting . . . and practical!
