her first guest star in a new series featuring a different comedian weekly, lovely vocalist Ginny Simms emerges from her cradle rocking vacation for another season as star of her own show Friday, September 20 (WHP, 9 9.30 p. E.D.T., from Hollywood). Ginny Simms was heard last season at 7.30 p. m. Ginny has kept in good voice during the hiatus months by sing' ing lullabies to her baby son, David, presented by Sir Stork last July.

The guest comedians come from the professional field of enter tainment. Danny Thomas, her first guest, was heard on CBS in 1944 with Fanny Brice, and has worked in the movies and in leading night clubs: Frank De Vol's orchestra re turns to accompany Ginny in her vocal numbers. The Sportsmen quartet and a chorus of mixed voices will support the singing star. Comedy situations for Ginny and her guests will be written by Hugh Wedlock and Howard Snyder. Richard Hall will write all dramatic sequences, Ken Niles Host At'HouseParty' Veteran Ken Niles will assume the mantle of Host at broadcasts of the "House Party" this week (Monday, September 16, through Friday, September 20) in the absence of the vacationing Art Linkletter.

Niles, a familiar per sonality on top Hollywood shows for more than 10 years, will search for the woman with "the most children in any ten year period." The winner will be awarded a new electric washing machine. (WHP, 4 to 4.25 p. E.D.T.) Highlight on Monday's show, September 16, will come with the "Musical Detective Game, in wnich two feminine volunteers will attempt to identify song ti ties. Edith Head makes an ap pearance on Tuesday. The famous fashion designer of Paramount Pictures will chat with women in the audience who have fashion problems.

"How I Met My Hus band will be the question on deck on Wednesday, Thursday brings the question: "Is it normal for women to stray after 15 years of marriage?"
