Waldron in connection with the death of his father, John H.

The elder Harmon died of concussion of the brain and hemorrhages, by arterial scerosis, according to a report by the State Pathologist, Dr Charles Duncan, who performed an autopsy. Chief of Police George Ducker, who investigated the case, said the elder Harmon told him in the hospital -Jimmie beat roe up." The son was arrested yesterday as he returned from his father's funeral. The younger Harmon, a former clerk with the Boston Maine Railroad, has lived at home for several years, police said.

The report of the recent burglary at the apartment of Alexander L. Stockwcll at the Brentwood Apartments. 520 High st. West Medford, received by the police yesterday, showed that about $375 worth of rings, gold chains, bracelets, pins and other jewelry and valuables were taken from the apartment, which was one of the several entered last month during the absence of the residents. A thief who has been making it a practice to steal pocketbooks in restaurants, as well as from hallways and kitchen tables of homes while the occupants are occupied with friends or otherwise engaged, is believed to be responsible for the theft of the pocketbook of Margaret Phipps, 13 Lowell st, Lynn, rrom a restaurant table near the car station of Salem st yesterday.

At a conference held yesterday at which the Selectmen, Miss Kate Ellis, agent of the Board of Welfare, and Mrs Bingham took part, the board signed the contract for the survey, which will cost the town $1400.
