Thus We Live In Red Cross Program Jean Duchosal, secretary general of the International Red Cross Committee, just returned from Geneva, Switzerland, brings a humane story of the 3000 neutral workers at Red Cross International Headquarters who maintain the only line of communication between the peoples of belligerent nations when he appears as guest speaker on the "Thus We series Thursday over WHP CBS from 9.45 to 10 a. m. The Committee's principal present services are the transmission of information about prisoners of war and the delivery of 25 word messages to civilian residents of enemy or enemy occupied countries. Since the war started, the Geneva Committee has handled 812,000 inquiries and approximately 3,550,000 messages have been cleared.
