"Radio's Fairy Godmother." It explains why Nila is called a one woman talent agency. Here are a few exerpts from this story: "Nila Mack, producer and di rector of Let's Pretend (WHP, 11.05 a.

Saturday), is a woman who knows her show business. And she knows children. She knows how to make them act, knows what they want to hear on radio. Proof of this lies in her show, Let's Pretend, which has won every possible award for a children's program during its 15 years on the air. "Nila has set more young tal ent on the way to success than all the theatrical agents in the coun try lumped together.

In a tattered notebook she has kept a record oi the children she has auditioned since the inception of her show. We find many youngsters listed have stepped right out of that magic little volume into adult roles on radio, stage, and screen. "To Nila the most important thing in an audition is the child's responsiveness to direction. Nila's entire week, including Sundays, Is spent in planning her show. It keeos her busy all the tune.

It's certainly not a 9 to 5 job. The Rush Is On Gold and Lana Turner influenced the rush in "Honky Tonk," which William Keighley will present on the Lux Radio Theatre, Monday, April 8, at 9 p. m. over WHP. Co starring with Miss Turner will be John Hodiak.

Sunday Edition Donna Dae Star Open Tuesday 6.15 a new thrice weekly musi and will be heard each Tues thereafter at 6.15 p.

m. "Sin cerely Kenny Baker" also stars Donna Dae of Fred Waring fame and James (Jimmy to you) Wal lington, one of radio's top flight announcers. Kenny Baker, last heard on WHP on his own Saturday night show, has long been one of radio's outstanding tenors. Recently he has been making guest appearances on many outstanding radio programs. Baker also had a leading role in the Broadway Musical production "One Touch of Venus." Kenny is famous for his interpretation of George Gershwin's songs.

Donna Dae better known as "Little Miss Rhythm" divides the vocal honors on the "Kenny Baker Show." Donna acquired a host of fans when she appeared for many months on the Fred Waring Show, and no wonder, for there's rhythm in every sound of her voice. There is no style quite like Donna's; she swings through the blues in a highly dis tinctive manner. Jimmy Wallington, "Sincerely's" announcer, has probably had more "big time" announcing jobs than any other announcer in radio. Jimmy is a favorite as veri tied by his appearance on "Sin cerely Kenny Baker." "We, The People" To Visit Circus A radio visit to the circus at Madison Square Garden; Norman Anthony, author of the new book, "How to Grow Old Disgracefully'': tribute to Army Day with WAC corporal Dolores Lauder and for mer Lieutenant Colonel (now Master Sergeant) Horst W. Tit tle, and Daniel M.

Isenberg, head of the Skip tracer organization who will reunite John H. Pom eroy with his family via radio after a 50 year separation; are some of the features which will highlight the "We, The People," program Sunday, April 7, at 10.30 p. over WHP. Microphones are to be set up at various parts of the arena while the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus is in progress, with interviews scheduled with lion tamers, clowns, and other characters participating in the show.
