Barber. 1 On Saturday evening last the staff of the Gilbert Company together with a few other friends gathered at the home of Mrs. Emma Brett, West minster to bid farewell to Miss Grace McFetrldge, who left Sunday night for Alberta, where she is tak ing a position as a school teacher. During the evening Miss McFet ridge was presented with a patent leather hat box.

Those present were Mrs. Victor Logan, Mrs. Emma Brett, Mrs. Earl Brett, Miss Olive Topley', Miss M. Andrews, Miss Mabel Evans.

Mrs. Howard Johnston, Miss Eva Tannahill, Miss Alma Wilson and the Misses Edith and Grace Following the evening service at the United Church, members of the Young People's Society and of the Senior Choir to the number of about sixty, met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Colling, to bid farewell to one of their members, Miss Grace McFetrldge. H. D. Lowther read an address, and Miss Ruth Wat son made the presentation to Miss McFetrldge of a pretty dinner ring. For the choir. Mr.

Charles Parker 'read an appreciative letter and Miss Ruth Halpenny presented the gift of a handsome purse. Miss McFetrldge left on the midnight train for the prairies, where she will take a school out of Calgary. The good wishes of many friends accompany Miss McFetridge.
