a fops networks with Super Bowl XV telecast The Marquee NEW YORK (UPI) The return of i the hostages left its mark on the Niel- I sen ratings last week, but even though Pierre Salinger's much-trumpeted spe- cial report on the event catapaulted "20-20" news magazine into the 1 top 10, it wasn't enough to overcome "Super Bowl XV" broadcast. NBC maintained a solid second-place rating of 19.9 on the strength of the big I game, but even that audience apparently suffered some erosion from the drama. The contest led the list, with a massive 63 audience share and a rating of 44.4, but it still was the lowest-rated Super Bowl since 1977. For the first time in years, CBS's "60 Minutes" was knocked out of the top 10, finishing the week in a 33rd-place tie with "Mork and Mindy," but CBS retained its lead with a rating of 20.2. ABC brought up the rear at 18.0.

CBS also ruled the evening news, which is ranked on a separate yardstick by the A.C. Nielsen scoring a week-long audience rating of 19.0, compared with NBC at 15.3 and ABC at 14.9. The top 10 network programs for the week ending Jan. 25, according to the A.C. Nielsen were: 1.

Super Bowl XV (NBC). 2. Dallas (CBS). 3. Dukes of Hazzard (CBS).

4. M'A'S'H (CBS). 5. Trapper John, M.D. (CBS) 6.

Super Bowl XV Post Game Show (NBC). 7. The Jeffersons (CBS). 8. Little House on the Prairie (NBC).

9. 20-20 (ABC). 10. Love Boat (ABC). That's Alive in Salina Salina Youth Symphony concert, 3 p.m., Marymount College Fine Arts Building.

For his recital, Albee will use a rare Bosendorfer piano brought to Kansas Wesleyan especially for his performance. The pianos are handmade in Vienna, Austria. Each takes four years to build and has 93 keys instead of the regular 88. The Bosendorfer for the concert was flown from Vienna to Chicago and then trucked to KW in a specially-heated trailer. The Kimbal-Bosendorfer Company of Jasper, and Hough Piano and Organ, Salina, are providing the piano.

Dr. Albee is a member of the piano faculty at Baylor University, Waco, Texas, and performs concerts throughout the United States. He also is an adjudicator, teacher and author, and is on the board of adjudicators of the National Guild of Piano Teachers. Admission to the concert is $3.
