His opponent on the first step of the cross-country tour is Barry MacKay, former U.S. Davis Cup star. Other members of the cast include Ken Rosewall, current pro titlist, and his opponent of the night, Andres Gimeno, Spanish champion; Luis Ayala, Chilean champ. and Earl Buchholz, former U.S. star, third match adversaries.

The attendance was the largest this season to view Boston League hockey. Bob Walsh, with an assist from Mark Flynn, scored the winning goal for Latin at 0:33 of the secon dperiod.

Flynn, stationed at the left 4 boards, fed Walsh who circled the B.C. High net and stuffed the puck into the cage from the right corner. Eleven penalties were called in the hard-hitting contest; eight against Latin and three against B.C. High. Both Latin defensemen, Ed-'ward Gottlieb and Wilbur Potter, were tremendous.

A high point came at 7:33 of the third period when both -Gottlieb and Potter were serving penalties. Latin went with Mike Treska, Mike Quinn and Flynn (Walsh subbed for Quinn after a whistle) and B.C. High didn't get a single shot on goal. Technical scored three times in the first period and then coasted by English. Tech scorers were Steve Cedorchuk, ,1 Mike Shanley, Peter Fleming and Pat Driscoll.

Ted Hoekel sparked Trade with three goals, while Joe Vigliotte had two and Bill' Guiney one. Dwight Bob White and Paul Cummings scored for Dorchester.
