Smaller Crowd at Revere REVERE, Aug 2 Cool winds off the water kept the Sunday crowd down to 125.000 persons today. Last Sunday there urere 200,000 visitors, and it was expected that the first Sunday in August usually a big day would surpass that figure. About 15,000 persons went into the water.

Of this number 3425 registered at the State Bath House. Mrs E'len Gallant, matron at the Metropolitan Police Station, cared for 50 lost children. The usual Sunday traffic regulations were in force on- the boulevard and no automobile accidents of a serious nature were reported. A record breaking crowd of more than 200,000 persons gathered along the South Boston waterfront and in the shady spots near' the beaches yesterday. Never in the history of the district has there been such a tremendous throng piesent either on a Sunday or a weekday.

Every inch of space from the Dorchester line to the Castle Island roadway was thronged as were all the shady areas in the vicinity of Marine Park. Thousands of automobiles proceeded in and out of the district and the long parking areas now double what they used to be, were at a premium throughout the day and evening. McLucas of East Dednam narrowly escaped injury tonight when an automobile he was driving crashed through a fence on the Southern Artery in Merrymount Park. YOUNG MAN SAVED FROM DEATH IN RIVER CONCORD, 11, Aug 2-Flrst aid methods employed by patrolman Percy Davis this afternoon saved the life of Albert Robbins, 19, oT this city, who was at the point of death from drowning.
