Millersburg Tops Elizabcthville to Annex Loop Title Millersburg High School was crowned champion of the Upper Dauphin League yesterday when the Indians came back in the afternoon to gain an 11 7 victory over the visiting Elizabethville nine after dropping the morning tilt, 6 5. The Millersburg boys won the first of the three game series last week by a score of 8 5. In the morning tilt played at Elizabethville, the Indians went down to defeat, 6 5, as the ville lads broke a 5 5 deadlock in the sixth inning to tally the winning run. Baer of Millersburg, posted a perfect four for four to take batting honors although Lenker, of Elizabethville, was right behind him with a three for three. It was an entirely different story in the afternoon when the Redskins took a 10 0 lead at the end of the third canto to batter the Elizabethville nine, 11 7, to take the championship.

Ray Baer, again walked away with all batting honors with another four for four, and this time he also did the twirling for the winners, tabbing 10 strikeouts. A date for the title playoff, if any, will be announced after a decision is made concerning New Cumberland's protested game with Carlisle. Hits were at a premium yester day at Camp Hill as both clubs were limited to four by Mengle and White, the rival twirlers. Mengle proved more effective in the clutches as he struck out nine and issued only one base on balls. Jesse Stone's home run blast helped the Tigers' cause, but fielding miscues and a wild pitch accounted for the other two runs that proved the margin of victory for New Cumberland. White's error enabled the Tigers to tally their first run in the opening frame and the fifth inning run tabbed when Taylor drew a free ticket, advanced on White's wild pitch and then crossed on Lissee's timely single to center, Stones homer, to deep center field, came in the sixth after two were retired.

Camp Hill garnered its lone tally in the final inning when Snyder singled, stole second and streaked across on Hauser's one' base blow to right. Carl Ross' Industrial group dropped its initial two starts, but the 11 to 10 defeat suffered at the hands of the Kinney nine was ordered replayed by league officials.

Thus a victory is taken from Kinney's and a defeat from White Hill. According to present plans there will be no game at 21st and Berryhill streets tomorrow evening. New Cumberland is listed to make its first league start and the tilt will be played at New Cumberland with White Hill furnishing the opposition.
