Carlos Ramirez, South American baritone, appear as guest soloists on the Ford Summer Hour over WHP and the Columbia network Sunday, 9 to 10 p. m. Harry Hor lick, conductor, directs both chestras and chorus. Mr. Ramirez is first heard in "Dime Que Si" by Oteo, accompanied by the 'rhythm orchestra.

Joining voices with Miss Heidt, he interprets "Humoresque" in symphony swing by Dvorak; "Green Eyes" by Menendez, and Excerpts from "The Bohemian Girl" by Balfe, with symphony or chestra and choral accompani ment, For her solo voice offering, Miss Heidt has chosen Gavotte from Mignon" by Ambroise Thomas. Horlick directs the orchestras and chorus in "El Relicario" by Padilla: "Valse Triste" by Berger: the sprightly "Valse Bluette" by Drigo; "Scenes Tziganes" by Hor lick; "Last Night" by the Nor wegian composer Kjerulf, and finally the sultry "Perfidia" by Dommguez. "The Man I Married" is the story of a childless young couple. Adam and Evelyn Waring, whose unstable finances make them accept the hospitality of Adam's domineering and wealthy dowager Aunt Mathilde. As the series opens Evelyn has taken into their home at Kimberly the baby of an impoverished family in the village and is going through a happy role as foster mother. "The Man I Married" is written by Carl Bixby and Don Becker, directed by Oliver Barbour and announced by Del Sharbutt. The new serial replaces "Martha Webster" and will be presented in the interests of the Campbell Soup Company. Stars of Both Americas on Summer Hour Winifred Heidt, soprano, and or 'Death Takes A Holiday' On Friday "Death Takes a Holiday," originally written by Alberto Cassella and rewritten for the American stage by Walter Ferris, is to be adapted by Charles Martin for "Great Moments From Great Plays," on WHP and the Columbia network, Friday, 9 to 9.30 p. m. The play is based on the poetic concept of Death suspending activities for three days.

During this period Death falls in love with a girl, and, through her, finds out why mortals tear him. Philip Merivale played the lead in the first Broadway production in 1929 and toured with the play for two years afterward. The first is "Summer Evening," by True Boardman, young writer who has penned a number of scripts for "Silver Theater." The second is "The Dude and the Desperado," by Ray Erlenborn and Lewis Erleborn is a CBS contact man, and Reed is a member of the theater maintenance crew. 1 For this broadcast, Ray Erlenborn will ct as program producer, with True Boardman as guest supervisor.
