3rd St. Miss Doris Cook Will Be Wedded The wedding of Miss Doris I. Cook, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert K.

Cook, 645 Camp street, and William. W. Hanawalt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Hanawalt, 612 Curtin street, will solemnized on Saturday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in Augsburg Lutheran Church.

The Dr. Amos Maxwell Stamets, pastor, will perform the ceremony. Wedding music will be presented by Miss Sara, Spotts and Miss Mary Hanawalt, sister of the bridegroom will be soloist. Altar tapers will be lighted by Richard C. Cook, brother of the bride.

Ap pleby, Seventeenth and Forster streets, became the bride last eve ning in Trinity Methodist Church, of Thomas W. Holtzman, son of Mrs. Ethel W. Holtzman, 3104 Walnut street, Penbrook. The ceremony was performed by the Rev.

Philip T. Gorman, pastor, before an altar banked with palms and calla lilies and Vivian Eves Steele, organist, and Miss Arlene Hershey, soprano soloist, provided the wedding music. The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a white mousse line de soie gown, made with leg o' mutton sleeves, a basque waist, and a bouffant skirt and tram, worn over white taffeta. Swiss cluny lace outlined the yoke and hipline and the bridal veil of tulle fell from a small fan of similar lace posed on the crown of her head. She carried an arm bouquet of white roses and bachelors buttons.

Miss Betsy Appleby, sister of the bride, wore peach net over taffeta, in a gown with bracelet length leg o' mutton sleeves and a basque bodice and full skirt. She wore a headdress of net flowers and veiling to match her gown and carried an arm bouquet of picardi gladiolus" and China blue delphinium.
