Goldman Band Concert. Maverick Silent On Red Rout San Antonio, Aug. 26 (VP). Transit Union Weighs Contract Nearly 6,000 members of the AFL Amalgamated Association of Street, Electric Railway and Motor Coach Employes of America will meet Thursday in their New Jersey local halls to consider a contract-rem-wal offer from Public Service Coordinated Transport. The union asked a boost in the basic rate from 67 to 90 cents per hour. The company offered 70 cents for an agreement to replace the contract expiring Oct. 1.
