Yep. In the original version, Leslie Howard was ochre with mustard but it was full primitive color. We visited Hollywood and saw all the brass stars in the sidewalk on Hollywood Blvd. We were wondering, do they take up those stars after an old-time actor is gone and forgotten? V.W.C. Nope.

They're supposed to stay there in perpetuity, even if no one can remember who the star was. I would like to know if that is Richard Thomas talking at the end of each episode of "The No. It's Earl Hamner Jr. who originated the characters and patterned them after his own family. When' the Giants play, why do the TV announcers call them the New York Giants when their new name is The Giants? R.C.K.

Just a bit of snobbery, in-dentifying things with New York. Actually, they should be the Jersey Giants. I liked "The Brady Bunch Variety Show" and I wondered if they are going to do any more? Why wasn't Eve Plum in it? The show was a pilot for a proposed weekly "family hour" variety show. It will be shown on Sunday nights, 7-8, every fifth week, alternating with the new "Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys Mysteries." Eve has gone on to bigger and better things and wasn't interested.
