On motion of Ellerston, second of Oslier, the following taxes levied upon the assessed valuation of Townships, Incorporated "Awns and City of Emmet County, Iowa, for the year 1938, the lev- being made in mills nnd fractions of mills nnd a tax of Three IJJetUu-s ($3.00) upon each female dog, One Dollar ($1.00) upon eacli (hale or spayed female dog in said County and the Auditor is hereby to spread same upon the tax books of Emmet County, Iowa, the year 1938. The following levies were voted for County Taxes: General Fund, 1.5; Court Expense, Poor, 1.5; State Insane, School, Soldiers' Relief, Bond, 1.9!); Bond Interest, -itiS; Emergency, 1.0; Construction, Construction, lintenance, 1.25: and Maintenance or Construction, aty Tax of 10.69 mills.

H. Schloeman and Gertrude M. Nipher, Justice of the Peace of Estherville Township, be approved. All voted "Aye." It was moved by Osher, seconded by Ellerston, that the September report of C. L.

Groth, Stewart of the County Farm, be approved. All voted "Aye." WHEREAS, the balance in Drainage District No. 29 is insufficient to care for expenditures deemed necessary for proper re. pairing and cleaning out of said ditch, it is hereby moved by Ellerston, seconded by Osher, a levy of the original assessment be made on Drainage District No. 29 and the County Auditor is hereby instructed to spread same.
