Lynch, president of the Women's Division of the Chamber of Commerce, announced Friday the 'appointment of a committee of outstanding El Paso women to plan the furnishings of the Soldier's Re: creation Center to be located in the old Elks Building. "We intend to have plans worked out in all details," Mrs. Lynch said. "so after the money is raised by the Carnival and Frolic to be held in the Center on March 22. we will enteady to purchase the equipMrs.

Edith C. Lane has received word of Sister Blandina Segales' death in the Mother House of the Sisters of Charity in Ohio. Sister Blandina traveled over the covered wagon trail in 1872 for her work (in Colorado and New Mexico, and many of the outstanding events she encountered are vividly described in her book.
