E. D. Purifoy will officiate and burial will be in the Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery. He was a native of Richland and had lived in Purdon for 25 years. He was a rancher, a member of the Baptist Church and a veteran of WW II.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Odis W. Bullock, of Purdon; two sisters, Mrs. Jim Bosley of Richland and Mrs. Sneed Bosley of Kirvin; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bullock is an employe of the Corsicana Daily Sun. H.O. Dejarnett Funeral for Horace 0. DeJarnett, a long-time Kerens resident and businessman, will be at 2 p.m.

tomorrow at Paschal Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kerens City Cemetery. DeJarnett, 74, died today following a two-week hospital stay. A veteran of the Air Force, Dejarnett operated a dry cleaning shop in Kerens. He was a member of Kerens Church of Christ.

Services will be conducted by Rev. Alfred Brown. DeJarnett is survived by his wife, Margaret; three daughters, Mrs. Yvonne Acree, of Dallas; Mrs. Betty Tucker of Kemp; Mrs.

Louise Herring of Fort Worth; one son, Horace E. DeJarnett of California; and by eight grandchildren. Pallbearers will be W. L. Bain, Homer Terrell, W.

P. Ingram, 0. R. Spurlock, Clifford Hawkins, and R. H.

She is survived by her husband, J. C. (Bill) Broughton of Houston; one daughter, Mrs. Rex Benton of Pursley; three grandsons and one great-grand child; two brothers, Tom Hardin and E. W.

Hardin, both of Pursley; and five sisters, Mrs. Hattie Shaw of Corsicana, Mrs. Emma Avila, Mrs. Eva Serrell, and Mrs. Ella Crenshaw, all of Mexia, and Mrs.

Bernice Pool of Houston. Forrest Green to speak at Navarro graduation Representative Forrest Green will be the graduation speaker for the Navarro College summer graduation ceremony to be held Thursday, at 2 p.m. in the Technical Arts Auditorium. Approximately 75 students are expected to receive degrees. Immediately preceding the graduation, a joint luncheon will be held with the executive board of the North Central Texas Council of Governments, officials of the chamber of commerce, city and county and local civic leaders.

A native Texan, Rep. Green now resides on his ranch near Emhouse. He served four years in WWII as a fighter pilot with overseas duty in China, Burma and India and attained the rank of major. Rep. Green still maintains an active interest in aviation as a pilot and aircraft owner.

He occupies the 27th District seat in the Texas House and presently serves on the Environmental Affairs and the Agricultural and Livestock Committees of the House. He is Vice-Chairman of the Agriculture Committee for Appropriative Matters. City Manager Dick Ballenger said today one item on a supplementary agenda had been added for city commission session.
