Great activity continued the past week in El Paso, and as the month of June draws near to a close there are indications that the aggregate building permits for the month may equal, if they do not exceed, the big total of nearly $500,000 recorded for the month of May. Among the notable developments of the past week was the announcement that a 4-story brick business building was to be erected on North Stanton street above the Cnllsher store by J. J. Lanier, of this city.
