Logue, the diamond merchant found shot, stabbed, slashed and burned with add in hia office here Friday, today took its place as a mystery along with tho recent murder of Mrs. Kraft. Captain llalpin of the Chicago detective bureau today ordered the release of two of the suspects taken In connection with the crime and admitted that he had no evidence to connect the other five with Logue's death. Captain Halpln also hus abandoned hope of connecting the three men and two women still held with tho recent highway robberies by "auto bandits" here. They are held for possible federal action because of the packages of parcels post stamps found In the flat where the arrests were made.

Members of a different band of criminals are sought. The police are looking for Gertie Friable as the mysterious "Gertie" who was a frequent visitor to the diamond merchant's office. Gertie Friable was a well known character here who disappeared a few ago when her sweetheart, "Eddie" Tate, a notorious safo blower, was sentenced to a term in prison. Tate recently was released and a short time ago Gertie Krlsbie re-appeared here with every evidence of prosperity, including many diamonds. The police are satisfied she is tho "Gertie" who visited Loffue.

"Eddie" Tate is said to have returned to Chicago. Willie Gilhooley. a diamond thief and expert criminal of international reputation, is the third member of the band the police are seeking. With Four Suffragettes Steadily Marching on New York Capital, Poughkeepsie, N. Dec. 22. With its marching forces augmented hy another private. "General" Rosalie Jones' little army of suffragettes continued the march today to Albany.

The new member of the army Is Miss Gladys Coursen, of Rhlnebeck, who will "stick through" she says, "until the state capital is reached." The suffragettes, now numbering five, left Poughkeepsie escorted by a number of local supporters of the cause.
