Judge MacTavish was probably a member ot mors royal commissions than any man la Canada. He was looked upon by everyone as the hlgheet type of Canadian eltlse-n. Hi Interests wsrs not entirely confined to professional and Judicial labors; hs took aa active Interest In every- thing that, related to ths welfare of th community.
