I Local stations show it all today By Robert A. McLean Globe Staff Boston television stations field their new fall program lineups starting today. Three new morning talk shows premiere, two tomorrow and the third Sept. 22, and an evening magazine series will introduce a new cohost. A noontime newscast returns to WNAC-TV (Channel 7) tomorrow, and an earlybird newscast premieres at 6 a.m.

a week from Monday on WBZ-TV (Channel 4). Network series now in syndication begin airing on several Hub stations. Movies will be aired at 4 p.m. weekdays on Ch. 7 (already under way a week) and Saturday nights at 9 on WXNE-TV (Ch.

25), beginning Sept. 20. The second season of the monthly, "This Was America" premieres Oct. 17 on WCVB-TV (Channel 5), and "Body Works," the medical series for kids and their elders, will run for five weeks at 7:30 p.m. on Ch.

5, starting Friday, Sept. 26. the new Ch. 7 morning series with Ted O'Brien, premieres live from the Burlington Mall at 10 a.m. tomorrow.

Syndicated columnist Ann Landers will be O'Brien's first guest. "Hour Magazine," with cohosts Pat Mitchell and Gary Collins, makes its debut at 9 a.m. tomorrow on Ch. 4, moving the Mike Douglas Show to 10 a.m.' And "Evening Magazine" introduces its new cohost, Candace Hasey she has replaced Robin Young who has Ch. 4's Today" earlymorning news-features show makes its debut at 6 a.m.

a week from tomorrow. And Ch. 7 renews its news at noon tomorrow, after a twoyear hiatus. Later in the fall Ch. 7 will begin airing a series of monthly news shows in prime time, produced by the station's news department and including investigative reports on Boston and the area.

Boston's three UHF stations show the largest number of new series for the fall, many syndicated from network or imported from Canada, England and Australia. CANDACE HASEY New on 'Magazine' moved to NBC and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. Ch. 7. which claims it has increased its local programming as much as 15 percent, gets the fall season off and running tonight with its new "SportsSunday" series at 11:30 p.m., with Bob Gamere and Roy Reiss.

Next Saturday at 4 p.m. Bill O'Connell will be the host of the first of the "Candlepin Pros" bowling series. Ch. 7 will challenge the dominant "Evening Magazine' at 7:30 p.m. weeknights with the high-rated "Family Feud," now in syndication, beginning Monday, Sept.

15. The three network affiliates' prime access lineup at 7:30 remains unchanged, except for the shift of Ch. 5's "Miller's Court" from Friday to Monday, effective Sept. 15. "Benny Hill" fans will be glad to hear the series is returning to WLVI-TV (Ch.

56) weeknights at 7:30, beginning Sept. 15. The station will premiere a new series, Benny," airing Saturdays at 11 p.m., with Hill introducing a number of new, young British comics whose skits and routines often resemble his own brand of humor. Wayne and Shuster, the comedy team that made its debut on the old Ed Sullivan Show a quarter century ago, has developed a new TV comedy series in Canada, which will be seen weeknights at 11 on Ch. 56, starting a week from tomorrow.

WSBK-TV (Ch. 38) will counter with the British comedy team of Morcambe and Wise weeknights at 11, beginning Sept. 22, plus a morning talk show at 9 a.m. weekdays, with Australian TV personality Don Lane. Ch.

38 will challenge its viewers to a double dose of physical fitness, with the new Richard Simmons show at 11:30 a.m. weekdays and the Ed Allen Show at noon. "'Starsky and at 5:30 p.m., and "What's Hap pening?" at 6 p.m. are two of Ch. 38's new syndicated series premiering Sept.

22, and a third, "Barney Miller," will air at 7:30 p.m. The Independent Network News shows will go to seven nights a week at 10 p.m., in early October, and a new "Hollywood Squares," from Las Vegas, will follow at 10:30. WXNE-TV (Ch. 25) airs two new game shows, "Let's Make A Deal," and "Face The Music." at 5:30 and 6 p.m. weekdays.

"'Wonder Woman" premieres at 4:30 on Sept. 15. Ch. 25 will carry the syndicated "Battlestar Galactica" series Saturdays at 6 p.m., beginning Oct. 4, and introduces two new Saturday kid shows, "'Shogun Warriors" at 7:30 a.m.

and again at 4 p.m., and "Starblazers" at 3:30. The station, part of the Christian Broadcasting network, also will drop all religious programming between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sundays, substituting western movies and action adventure films.
