Board Chairman Dr. Joseph Glicksman said the Moody Foundation provided $25,000 this year as money to get the program and it is hoped the center can be refunded for next year. Board member Don Bowen said members of the Family Consultation Center board of directors spoke to individual members of the school board about the possibility of the school providing some funds for the center.

Bowen said Maco Stewart, school board president, two weeks ago seemed with help our center has given Bowen said he told Stewart about the funding status of the center, that it is a non-profit organization, and that the center also needs financial support from other agencies such as municipalities and county government. He said Stewart invited him and other directors of the center to make a presentation to the school board about the need for funds.
