District Justice Earl Gregory of Shavertown found enough evidence Tuesday to send Rob-eft N. Montigney of Apt. 2, 260 S. Main Wilkes-Barre, to court. Montigney, 26, is charged with receiving stolen property and operating a car without consent of the owner.

Montigney is also charged with escaping the Brevard Corrections Institution in Seminole County, Dec. 17, 1979. Dallas Township Police Chief Carl Miers said Montigney was serving time in prison on burglary charges. Miers said Florida authorities have filed papers for Montigney's extradi YOUNGBLOOD'S TV 5 tion. No hearing has been set Montigney remains in jail in lieu of $50,000 bail on the fugitive charge pending extradition proceedings and $10,000 bail on the theft charges.

Gregory Tuesday reduced bail in the theft charges from $25,000. According to testimony at the hearing, Montigney was stopped by Dallas police officer John Fowler at about 3:30 a.m. June 26 while driving a blue Chevrolet Nova. Fowler said at the hearing he stopped the car after Montigney ran a red light and passed another vehicle at an intersection on Route 415. A check by Fowler indicated the car is owned by Betty Mc-Fadden of South River Street, Wilkes-Barre.

Mrs. McFadden's son, Donald, said he had parked the car in front of his home at about 1 a.m. June 26. WILKES-BARRE MOOSIC The proprietor of a beverage distributorship was robbed at gunpoint of about $6,000 as he entered his car here Tuesday morning. Police said Raymond Falcone, 57, of Wilkes-Barre, left Terry's Diner, 4118 Birney Scranton at about 10:15 a.m. Tuesday and got in his car when a man put a gun to Falcone's head and demanded money. Falcone, operator of Birney Beverage, Moosic, reportedly gave the gunman a First National Bank of Avoca bank bag containing about $6,000 cash and an undetermined amount of money from his wallet. The production staff would not release the location of Tuesday's shooting. Scranton native Jason Miller, who starred in "The Exorcist," wrote both the screenplay and the award-winning play, which had a long run on Broadway. The film traces the lives of a basketball coach and members of his team from the time they win the state basketball championship to a reunion 25 years later. The story is reportedly based on time Miller spent at St. Patrick's High School in Scranton.

Casting director Ruth Josem is tapping Scranton area talent for several roles in the movie. Last Wednesday, Ms. Jose'm selected about 1,000 area people to play in two crowd scenes one at Nay Aug Park, the other at the Viewmont Mall. Among those selected for speaking parts in the film are: Peter Flynn, superintendent of schools in the Scranton school district. He will play a Scranton city councilman.

Four members of the Scranton Public Theater: James M. Langan, Anthony Santaniello, Michael Bernosky, and Joseph Kelly. They will also play city councilmen. Robert Shlesinger, of the1 Scranton Public Theater. He will play the role of a teacher.

Lawnmower stolen WILKES-BARRE A gas-powered lawn mower worth about. $200, was discovered missing Monday from the owner's back yard. Patrick Santucci, of 38 Dago-bert told police someone took the machine between 9 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

Parking meter stolen from home WILKES-BARRE City detectives are investigating the burglary of a woman's apartment Monday evening. Kim Elias, 10 E. North told police she arrived at her apartment and saw one of the doors ajar. She discovered a parking meter and coin box missing from the attic, police said. Value of the items was not known.
