Loss $2,000 In Trailer Blaze Fire early this morning de stroyed a 40-foot trailer and damaged a second at a Con federation Heights construction site. The trailers, owned by the Petrifond Foundation Co. were parked side by side at the new National Revenue Building, Branson Avenue and Heron Road. One trailer, containing workmen's clothing for about 50 men, was destroyed. The trailer also contained some of the men's personal clothing.

Tools and equipment in the other trailer were slightly damaged. There were no injuries. Dam age was estimated at $2,000. The fire, believed to have started from a defective space heater, was discovered by workmen about 4.30 a.m. Firemen from Station 8, directed by District Chief Paul Parent, fought the fire by use of tank truck as there is no water supply at the scene.

Wesley M. Robb beloved hus band of Linda dear brother of Mrs. J. Sproule MacLean and Mrs. W.

D. McDermid; and uncle of Mrs Earl Davis; Miss Wylda Mc Dermid and Mrs. D. A. H.

Gillies. Dr. Robb received the Military Cross for outstand ing service in the First World War. In addition to his priv ate practice in Toronto he served on the Medical Staff of the City Hall and at Lam bert Lodge. He was the Lt -Col.

of the Toronto Frontiers men and received their Cen tennial Medal in 1967. A military, funeral was held March 18,. at the Elliott Fun-eral Home: Toronto. It argued that the article was hot defamatory and that since Mr. Gouzenko did not give evi dence himself at the trial, the jury's finding was a reasonable one.

Mr. Sedgwick distributed copies of the magazine to the court and noted that the article was not primarily concerned with Mr. Gouzenko but about all events of the 1940s. He read in full the paragraph about Mr. Gouzenko and asked the court to agree there was nothing offensive in them.

At any rate, Mr, Gouzenko had won at trial. Mr. Justice Emmett Hall said at present value, the SI award was Indeed a small one. Mr. Sedgwick replied a Mr.

Gouzenko had been vindicated and that could not be measured In dollars. The appeal continues today. LONG DISTANCE PH1N6 ZENITH 77120 NO TOL'. CHARGE 2. Deaths (Cont.
