Obituaries and Funerals CAESSLER COLDER Funeral services for Caessler Colder, 65, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fairbanks chapel by Rabbi Herbert Weinberg and Cantor Ezring of Rock Island. Masonic services for Mr. Golder will be held at 8 o'clock tonight at the Fairbanks home for funerals. Interment will be at the Jewish cemetery.

Mr. Golder, who lived at Ho tel Muscatine, died at 10 a. Wednesday after a sudden heart attack at the corner of Sycamore and 2nd street. A retired attorney, Mr. Golder nad practiced iaw in Davenport for many years.

He was an attorney for the Iowa state tax commission for 20 years. Mr. Golder was born Oct. 13, 1901, at Sioux City. He was mar ried Feb.

1, 1953. in Chicago, to Ruth Glass Poisky. An active Mason, Mr. Golder was Past Master of Trinity Lodge 208 at Davenport, a Noble of Kaaba Temple, and a member of the Davenport Consistory. He was a member of Geneva Golf and Country club, Iowa State Bar Association, Scott County Bar Association, and the Elks lodge of Muscatine.

He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Ruth Golder of Muscatine; one son, Dr. Louis Poisky of Paramus, N. one daughter, Mrs. Max Stool of Del Rio, Tex as; two brothers, Calmon Golder of Miami Beach, and Larry B.

Golder of Atlanta, one sister, Mrs. bimon "Sarah" Dwarkin of Milwaukee, Wise; and five grandchildren. Mr. Golder was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. FRANK A.

JOHNSTON LONE TREE Frank A. Johnston, 96, a retired salesman and resident of the Lone Tree community for many years, died Wednesday afternoon at Her shey Convalescent Hospital, Muscatine. He was born March 26, 1871 at Pottsdam, N. a son of Ar chibald and Caroline Chaney Johnston. He married Harriett Underwood Aug.

28, 1901 at Lone Tree. Mrs. Johnston preceded her husband in death. He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Abner Masonic lodge and the Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are a sister, Mrs.

Pearl Samuelson of Vancouver, British Columbia, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be con ducted at the Sorden Adains Chapel at 2 p. m. Friday by the Rev. Roy Shaughnessy.

Burial will be at the Lone Tree cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral nome pending serv ices. Dixon Signs New Contract With Symphony The president of the board of directors of the Tri City Symphony Orchestra Association announced today that James Dixon, Iowa City, has signed a three year contract as conductor of the Tri City Symphony. He will also serve as music direc tor. Mr.

Dixon was guest conduc tor in 1965, and assumed the role of music director and conductor of the Tri City Symphony at the opening of the 1965 66 season. He is conductor of the University of Iowa Symphony Orches tra and a member of the faculty of the School of Music. Tickets are still available for the Sunday afternoon series of concerts for the 1967 68 season at the Masonic auditorium, Davenport. There will be six concerts featuring renowned guest artists. Tickets may be obtained by phoning 762 6661.

Burial was at the Mt. Calvary cemetery, West Liberty, under the direction of the George M. Wittich Funeral Home. The young man died early Sunday morning when the car he was driving plunged into the Cedar river overflow west of the Cedar river bridge on County Road C. MRS.

ARIZONA PATTERSON Services were conducted at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday at the George M. Wittich Funeral Home for Mrs. Arizona Patter son, 72, who died Monday at Muscatine General hospital.

Rev. J. Paul Stevens, pastor of the First Evangelical United Brethren church, was the offici ating pastor. Mrs. Pat Simpson was organist.

Flower attendants were Mrs. Wendall Keith, Mrs. Lewis Simons, Mrs. Rex Shafer, and Mrs. Richard Shafer.

Pallbearers were Wendall Keith, Lewis Simons, Rex Shafer, Richard Shafer, Oscar Rhoades, and Willam Reifert. Interment was at Greenwood cemetery. 0 WILLIAM ELLIOTT Funeral services for William Elliott, 56, were held at 3:00 p. m. Wednesday at the George M.

Wittich Funeral Home. Rev. T. Ray Crews was the officiating paster. Mrs.

Pat Simpson was organist. Pall bearers were Arthur Shephard, Donald (Pete, Carter, Robert Hohanadel, Richard Kruse, Willim Kruse, and Robert Brugman. Burial was at Island ceme tery. Mr. Elliott died Monday at Muscatine General hospital.

RAMONA H. PETERSON NICHOLS Funeral services for Ramona H. Peterson, 18, were held at 2:00 p. m. Wednesday at the Nichols Christian church with the Rev.

Noble A. Bolinger officiating. Mrs. Keith Abbott was vocalist. Pallbearers were William Fay Krueger, Lone Tree; Randy Bailey, Wellman; Paul Klein, Iowa City; and Lonny Griggs, Columbus Junction.

Interment was at the Nichols cemetery under direction of the Riley Funeral Home, Muscatine. Ramona died at University hospital, Iowa City, Monday morning from injuries suffered in an auto accident May 20. Swim School Registration Slated Friday MORNING SUN Registration will be held Friday afternoon from 1 to 5 p.m. for the Red Cross swimming program to be held at Burlington for Morning Sun boys and girls.
