E. M. Berg will officiate with burial in the church cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home. Mr. Vinge was born in Pine Lake township Sept.

25, 1904 and had lived in that area all his life. He is survived by his wife, the former Anna King; a daughter, Mrs. Mark (Margaret) Moohardt and a son, Mark of Gonvick; one grandson; a brother, Oscar of Hazlet, New Jersey; a sister, Mrs. Henry (Marie) Johnson of Gonvick. ST.

MARTIN RITES Funeral services for Philip St. Martin, who died Tuesday, will be held at St. Augustine Catholic Church at Cohasset Saturday at 10 a.m. A Rosary service will be held at the Rowe Funeral Home in Grand Rapids Friday at 8p.m. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery at Cohasset.

Mr. St. Martin, who made his home with his nephew, Jack St. Martin in Bemidji, is survived by his mother and a brother of Grand Rapids and four nephews. MISTIC FUNERAL Services for Mrs.

Thomas (Jeanine) Mistic, were held at St. John's Catholic Church Tuesday. The Rev. Ignatius Candrian and the Rev. Russell Anderson officiated.

Mrs. Russell Anderson was the organist and Mrs. Douglas Norvold, the soloist. Pallbearers were Richard Tobey, Andy, Frank and Pete Mistic, William and Steve Pemble. Burial was made in the church cemetery under the direction of the Olson- Schwartz Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mistic, whose accidental death occurred Saturday, is survived by her husband and a daughter, Jessica; her parents, a brother and three sisters. HEEMSTRA SERVICE The Rev. Robert Villwock was the officiant at services for Mrs. Wanda Heemstra Tuesday at the United Methodist Church.

Christine Hanson was the organist and Mrs. William Britton and Mrs. the vocalists. Pallbearers were Roy Thompson, Buster Donat, Tom Hill, Cliff Premo, Percy Bliss, and Everett Beveridge. Burial was made in Evergreen Cemetery at Backus under the direction of the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home.

Mrs. Heemstra one of the five victims of a car-truck accident Saturday, is survived by two sons, five sisters and two brothers. MELHUS SERVICE Funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Robert Melhus were held at the Calvary Lutheran Church Tuesday with the Rev.

Russell Anderson officiating. Mrs. Lawrence Johnson was the organist and Mrs. Douglas Norvold, the soloist. Pallbearers were Carl, Robert and Rick Johnson, John and Eric Larsen, Merton Larson, Jim Musburger, Charles Noren, Ervin Olson, Morris Jacobson, Merlin Froyd and John Melhus.

Burial was made in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of the Olson- Schwartz Funeral Home. The Melhuses, who were killed in a car-truck accident Saturday, are survived by three sons, Gregory and Randall of Bemidji and David, Grand Forks; two daughters, Mrs. William Noren of Honolulu, Hawaii and Mrs. Steven Larson, Bemidji. George Smith of St Bartholomew's Episcopal Church officiated at funeral services for Mrs. Oscar Sletten at the McKee Funeral Home Wednesday. Mrs. John H. Bender was the organist and Mrs.

Ednah Clairmont the soloist. Mrs. Sletten, who died at Stillwater Jan. 21 is survived by her husband; a son; five daughters, and three sisters, Mmes. Ettie Miller, Sadie Risland and Lillie Leister, all of Bemidji.

Attending from out of town were her son, Mr. and Mrs. James Sletten and family of Anoka and Mrs. Sletten's father, Mr. Peterson of Minneapolis; her daughters, Mr.

and Mrs. Robert Krumrey and family, Anoka, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bullock, Minneapolis, Mrs. Victor Dougherty, Canton, Ohio; Mr.

and Mrs. Robert Manning of Stillwater, a grandson, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Risland of Pine River. One daughter, Mrs.

James Boyd of Rockford, was unable to attend. MRS. JOHN BORNHOLDT Mrs. John A. Bornholdt, 73, of Wilton died at the Clearwater Memorial Hospital at Bagley Wednesday.

Naomi Ruth Kirkpatrick was born at Aplington, Iowa June 4, 1899, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Kirkpatrick. She moved as a child to White Rock, S.D., later to Fargo where she was employed as a secretary. Her marriage to Mr.

Bornholdt took place at Fargo June 30, 1930 and they had lived in Wilton since 1932. Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Joan Bornholdt of Minneapolis; two brothers, Harry Kirkpatrick of Green Acres, and John of Mentor; a sister, Mrs. Anna Johnson of Minneapolis. Bemidji Police investigated three minor traffic accidents Wednesday, the first taking place about 1:30 p.m. at 212 Second Street. There a car driven by Bertha Engeborg, 518-22nd St. and a pickup driven by Kenneth Carpenter, Route 2, collided, causing about $100 damage to the pickup and $50 to the car. At 2:42 p.m., cars driven by Orlette Prochnow, 1216 Park and Alfred Erickson, 600 14th collided at llth Street and Mississippi Avenue.

The Prochnow car, a 1961 Plymouth station wagon, was listed as a total loss, while the Erickson vehicle received about $250 damage. Attack charge is investigated BAGLEY An investigation into the alleged Jan. 16 attack on Richard Pedrin, S. Ste. Marie, revealed that Pedrin had been trying to buy razor blades at Ernie's Recreation, Bagley. (AP) An early morning fire caused considerable damage to the building housing the semiweekly Marshall Messenger today, but Managing Editor James Ayers said he plans to publish on Friday as scheduled.

The fire was discovered shortly after 4 a.m., by the newspaper's production manager, Robert Westall, who lived in an upstairs apartment.
