Lee May Be Mormon 'Prophet' SALT LAKE CITY (UPI)The Mormon ruling council was expected Monday to name Harold B. Lee, its ranking member, as successor to Joseph Fielding Smith as of the three million- member faith. Lee. 73, president of the Council of the Twelve Apostles and first counselor in the LDS First Presidency, became the ranking Mormon leader after death Sunday night. Smith, grandnephew of church founder Joseph Smith, died of a heart attack at the age of 95.

Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday in the Mormon Tabernacle on Temple Square for Smith, who as church piesident was the Mormon's seer and for the past two and one half years.
