Slotsky stated that though credit debt has risen tremendously in the past four years, the situation still seems to be a healthy one as national gross product, repayment of installment debt and savings have all three risen at about the same rate.

He emphasized that intelli gent control of credit is the responsibility of the credit I grantors, and they owe it to I their communities to accept and i act on this responsibility.
